Yes, same here. And I've had some horrible crashes .

Another thing with this style of bumper is that it tends to be a bit nicer to the track you're running on if it's astro or carpet. The original, square bumper can easily catch seams etc.

the jconcept 12mm hexes the front wheels are for zx6 ,zx5 compatible will the b44.2 wheels work or is the offset different i assume the offset different? also seen exotech racing has a set that will work for the b44.2 wheels but will i need longer axle for the front ? i looked for jconcept zx6, zx5 compatible wheels and seem's i can not find them online like they don't make them. any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Do you already have zx or b44 wheels ? The only real reason to run other brands of wheels is because you have them already. Otherwise just use the xray wheels. Don't make it so hard.

With exotek 12mm rear hexes&AE B5 wheels the car is barely within the width rules. I wouldn't recommend those.
JC 12mm rear hex seems to be narrower and I expect that the car width is nearly the same as with stock xb4 14mm hexes and xray wheels...

I haven't gone through this whole thread. However I just ran my xb4 for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. My only issue was that one of the pins holding the cvd's in just shot out. I didn't see any sign of it going through the plastic cover. Is this a common occurance and also what parts should I keep on hand for races? Thank you

It happens, especially if the join is too dry.

Switch to the optional alu cups.

As for spares, there's a nice list earlier in the thread . But a few arms front and back, diff houses front and back and bevel and crown gears is a good place to start.

My buddy blew a pin through alloy cups and he always used a graphite dry lube on his joints

make sure you check your locktite(d) screws. My front diff got shredded from the screw holding the bevel gear in place back out. destroyed the diff housing. I didnt take any pics but it made a huge mess.. and gave me about 60% drag brake!! haha

I swear Xray should hire me for R&D

Yeah I also did the same once. Only thing did not clean the older blue off with motor spray that caused a failure lolz. Had half a mind to put a socket cap and red locktite the sucker :P
