The last pic looks the best but it looks too tall. I see what your going for though.

The pattern is higher due to you need to allow trim height for the material..actually the new design is a little lower...also the side sections dont have a chamfer as the original one so it just looks higher...once trimmed after it is moulded it will sit quite nicely on...I think I need to go to the next stage give me a week or so...
Thank you for the feedback

It's not an easy conversion. I bought the parts and started working on it last Friday and set is aside until I have more time.
The outdrive and bearing on the crown gear side are going to have to be shimmed out quite a bit, about .090" which then means the bearing is riding on a little more than half of the crown gear. Also the crown gear is not centered on the diff case like stock. There is a gap so all the force of not only rotational but also radial force is through the 4 diff screws. Looks like a hokey setup not sure I would trust it. I'm waiting for the xray gears.
Then

I wonder why a few others have said it was a somewhat easy conversion. Disappointing considering I bought quite a few of the parts to do it.

If you think about it that would be cross-mixing Segedin Goulash with Sushi Rolls... That just doesn't work.

and if you want to know what Segedin Goulash:

watch in 2 weeks the steel parts will be available

If you don't mind shimming the heck out of the diff then it might be considered easy. It's definitely not a drop in and go mod. Even if I went ahead and made it work I still wouldn't trust the ring gear to stay concentric to the diff case.
