Wow, replacement pinion and ring gear, in steel, and for about $19. I'm willing to bet the Xray set up will be closer to $40!

Throw a set of these on and you can run any 12mm wheel you like and in any color you like. Even the new EVO and VTR wheels:

Durango front wheels is about the same offset like Xray V1, so to get it to same as V2 a 1mm offset shim is needed.

$40 per gear maybe. When 2 outdrives cost $37 I bet the option aluminum gears will cost $120 for front and rear. Hope I'm wrong.

Will the DEX410 (14mm) wheels work on the XB4 well?

Sure will. I use them more than the XRay wheels.
Just have to drill out the center hole just a bit.

On a different note..
Anyone using 10k F / 7k R diff setup? You like it? Too much oversteer (loose)?
Manual says 10k F/10k R for high grip track. Local track is high grip clay with slicks. Wondering how the 7k would work compared to the usual 5k.

By running the slipper too tight. One of the guys I race with had his locked down and blew out his gears after 2 race days on high grip. I've only had that happen once in 7 months of racing every week.
