I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt you will get even close to $450.00 for a used buggy no matter what you threw I to it. Maybe $350.00 hence why I stopped selling cars here. People are lowballers here.

I here u but I still think this is a steel. $400 for new kit plus all these extras will put u well over $600. The good thing is I'm not desperate to sell it.

Honestly (total xray homer time), why are you selling it? Wheeler class dead I. Your area? Cost of upkeep. You have spent so much money on it, a shame if it is not driven. Car is too good to be ignored.

One to many cars. It's getting overwhelming running all these cars. I did lower the price a little based on ur comment. Thanks

Yeah with an st, 8th scale, buggy + shit gets expensive. Just don't go for the lowball. You will feel like crap afterwards. I have sellers recourse still over selling a 2 practice day old B5R. But got the Serpent. I see your a K car guy. Good choice, still miss my RB6. Was just too much to find a kid-motor setup without spending almost as much on the kit on stuff to make it work. Still love that Japanese quality.

With that said I did see the ZX6 at the Reedy Race all weekend (only good thing about Cali) and it packs a big bunch of woop ass. A tiny bit brittle though, but I will give credit where it is due, and it looks sexy as hell.

Any recommendations for ESC / Motor set up along with recommended servos for this car, I just picked one up used. I'm leaning towards the Tekin RSX (already have the hotwire) with a 6.5T motor. I'm just not sure if I should stick with a Tekin motor or if there is a better alternative or different combo I should be looking into?
I run the Hitec servos in my other vehicles and will probably stick with them I'm just not sure which one to get without being overkill/not enough.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Orion is very good (both motor and speedo), very easy to setup with the programming card and a very proven package.

As for servos, currently running a savox 1258 which is in all my 10th cars, never had any issues.

Anyone using the Tekin ESC's/Motor combos, it almost seems like very few XB4 owners use Tekin ESC's / Motors. I have a couple RX8's that have worked well in and would like to continue using Tekin unless their equipment is just substandard in this category. Just looking for as much advise/feedback as possible before I plunk down my hard earned cash.

Thanks,

@suzukipro - Tekin make great products, their first generation of RS ESC's seemed to be really good at 10.5-21.5 motors, especially for boosting etc, but not so good at handling higher winds like 6.5's. I had the RS in my 4WD and ran 10.5 and an 8.5 and the motors would run hot. Just my opinion. I have not run their new RS Gen 2 or RSX. They work hard to improve their stuff and their new stuff could be very good, if you like Tekin, they are certainly worth a serious look. Their motors are also very good from what I've heard and seen at my club. Side note, before their Gen2 stuff came out, I switched to Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro's (which they no longer make - it was more of a timing thing than anything else).

Your RX8's are too big to use in 1/10th in case you were thinking that

If I were buying new electronics tomorrow - I'd consier the LRP Flow, Orion, the SP Reventon 1.1 Pro, the Viper & the RSX - Nice to have choices, they are all good!

Motors? I like the LRP X20 series of motors personally, but your Tekin Gen 2's are good too.

To summarize - you like Tekin stuff? Cool. Go get your RSX & A Gen2 6.5 or 8.5 motor and go race.

How about a RSX with a trinity 7.5, I'll be running mostly on a indoor. I think the 6.5 might be overkill, but don't want to rule myself out from outdoor.

I run the Lrp 7.5 outside on 1/8 tracks and have no problem keeping up with 5.5 motors. A lot of times the 5.5 guys turn there's down a little so it's not a big difference to me.
