I just tried the trinity d3.5 6.5 motor and that thing is a ballistic missile! I took my XB4 to a TQ and win yesterday. I had it geared at 84/21 for outdoors and the motor came off at 145 degrees. I am amazed at how well the car works. This thing is awesome.

That is a fast motor. Closer to a 5.5 for other manufactured motors. JR Mitch runs a 7.5 in his 22-4 and it has no problem running with the guys using 6.5's.

Yeah, it is insane. I had a trackpower 6.5 in it for a while. This thing is much quicker. It was drivable but fast as hell.

With 3.5 rear toe, you can't technically have "zero" track width. Running the blank center bushings would give you "zero" track width, but you need to move the pins to get the additional .5 degrees of toe.

So with that said, in the RR block run a .5 bushing up, and in the RF block use the corner .5 bushing, so that it is down and in. That'd get you 3.5 toe with the same roll center, but slightly narrower. You could also use a .5 corner bushing in the RR so that it's up and out, and then use a .5 down bushing in the RF. Both settings are the same toe-in and roll center, just up to you whether you want the rear end to be slightly narrower or slightly wider than stock. I'd probably go with the latter.

Is there anywhere to get parts for this car? A lot of stuff seems to be out of stock. It's an awesome car but I can't even find wheels for it.

Check absolute hobbyz.

Anyone know what aka wheel is the closest offset to stock for the evo wheels? Kyosho, ae or losi? Not concerned whether it's 12 or 14mm hex just want to get the offset close.

Kyosho. A 4.5mm thick 12mm hex should be pretty close.

Where is everybody getting their parts from?

Amain and Stormer have been backordered forever.

Don't mind getting killed on shipping from overseas, if I can get all the hopups in one order.

Doesn't that site require you to photocopy your drivers license as well as your credit card to confirm who you are?
