I've been running XRay customs, and am now going to test the Avid.
I just measured one of each. Granted the XRay one I measured is used some, so take this into consideration...Also, I measured in several different spots on each too.
XRays measured between 12.03mm and 12.07mm.
Avids measured between 12.12 mm and 12.15mm.

That's saying a lot that x ray can mold plastics that round , almost as round as machined parts .

I am not running either roll bar . Running outdoors with light grip , car seems to stay a bit more calm .

At my track there's a few XRays. With that, there seems to be a couple trains of thought. I am running with the arms (2014) back, no stiffener screws, and stock sways.
Two that I know of ( one is JamesBernatchez ) are running at least some of the stiffener screws, but no sways front or rear. I'm not sure of arm location but all of us are running the '14.
That said, we are all very competitive with each other and capable of winning any given event. Our shop owner runs a 44.2 and is usually the man to beat in the wheeler class....but he has off days too :P

I am on a 1/8 track , 1 big cross over ,few doubles, and a table top. I run 20 fr 19 rr with 2 hole pistons and it rides pretty nice . No bottoming and good in the choppy , rutted stuff.

Awesome to know! I will practice a bit with it tomorrow. Just don't know what the characteristics will be with and without roll bar. Currently no rollbar in front and 1.2 in rear.

I kind of have the same track. What are you running in diffs and shock oil. I currently at 10,000/5000 and 30/25

I have a feeling this car may have too much steering

7k fr 3k rr. 32.5 f. 30 r . I use the progressive springs . Your going to have a handful leaving just the rear bar on there with no front . I do that on the tight , trippy indoor track where the car needs to rotate . On a fast outdoor track it's just too much .
