Im looking for a good setup for a rough 1/8 track. My car was great the first week i ran it but the local track upkeep is rough. Last weekend i was pulling my hair out with the track conditions. Any suggestions?

I assume you mean it is very bumpy and rutted. Typical changes for conditions like that would include softer springs, lighter oil, even bigger hole pistons. softer tire foams can help too. You might give up a little pack for landing a big jump but you should gain more on the rest of the track.
Widen track with (inner hinge pin mounts and wider hexes) and longer wheel base can help stabilize the car too.

Thanks buddy. I will try those suggestions. Have you tried progressive springs? A local is running them and they seem to work well. I was thinking of trying them also. I am going to make some radical changes because this track is pretty rutted out and hard to run for a 1/10th. I still managed 2nd place but know that I am not even close to where I will be when I get it right. I know this car has what I want, Just gotta find it.

We've actually had better luck not using the progressive springs on outdoor rutted loose tracks.

Flows much better with the linear springs and F: 2x1.6 and R: 2x1.7 pistons.

Depending on temperature we've used 32.5-35 front and 27.5-32.5 rear (depending on anti-squat and wheelbase used).

So when is the XB4 '14 expected to release? Wonder what the improvements will be?

According to M Hudy's twitter feed, they finished the instruction manual last week.

Glad you posted this. I literally had just placed an order for the XB4 20 minutes before I read this. Was able to cancel. I'll hold tight for the 14 model if its on the near horizon.

I had a feeling.... Supply of the XB4 seemed kind of scarce. Usually mean that they are not supplying because they are rolling out an update.

The car just looks so much more intimidating with the RX8 inside.

Does the body fit? I'm impressed. No clearance issues at all?
