Question is there even a girl factory team driver in existence in the rc world?

If not wouldn't it be awesome if she was the first.

How old is she...?
Thanks......she's come a long way in just 9 months of driving

She turned 8 in mid July.

She has been running R/C cars since late November '12, so barely 9 months

She ended up in 6th place in the totals for the 2013 Swedish Cup in 4WD buggy which is her favorite of the 3 she currently drives (2WD and 1/8th electric as well).

Her favorite race so far was the 2013 Neo race last month though

Got a 21st in the electric 1/8th class and best Xray driver of the event

Don't know of a girl being a factory driver although there are a few girls with some sponsors........but Malin's still very young......we'll see

there are a bunch of those out there, and they don't all say the same thing, I suggest printing them all out and putting them in a binder. Makes you wonder why so few setup sheets include the brand of oil.

She qualified #6 for this A-final after a breakdown in 1 of the qualifiers (was 4th).

But not too bad considering this was her first time back on astroturf since round #1 back in May

She made a mistake on lap 3 which put her last but managed to advance to a 6th position in the end.

She did get rear ended going into the last turn just before the finish line but she managed to maintain her position

In this A-Final 1 she did 13 laps in 5m 21.908sec with a best lap of 23.115 which gave her a 6th place for this first of three A-finals.

Had a bit of camera problems on this run

Video from A-final 2.

With just 30 seconds left of the final and sitting in 4th position her ESC started cutting out at 4:38.
She then had trouble clearing the table top and going onto the back straight with the ESC cutting she dropped from 4th to a 6th

A dissapointing result but nevertheless very happy with the awesome driving

In this A-Final 2 she did 13 laps in 5m 18.858sec with a best lap of 23.195 which gave her a 6th place for this second of three A-finals.

Much better filming in this one.

hey im a new owner of the xb4 and over the last month with it i have won a jbrl round with it and got third in anther.but i have been having a slight problem with it im stripping out the ring and pinion gear or crown gear.mainly the front ones.i have tried to shim it but nothing helps.i have herd of useing nt1 gears but i have only found a crown gear and its a 38t gear and the stocks is 35t.so if someone can give me that parts number for the right one or tell me how to fix it with the stock ones.it would be a big help.

Turn down your brake strength in your ESC or the EPA on your transmitter.

Loosening the slipper will also help some.

Main reason for stripping the front pinion gear is being too hard on the brakes.

Stripping the rear is usually from running the slipper way too tight and accelerating too abruptly on high grip surfaces.

NT1 gears are replacements for the satellite/planet gears inside the diff

Video from the last A-final 3 in 4WD buggy @ round 3# of the Swedish Cup in Söderhamn RC

Malin made a mistake on lap 2 and was dead last

Drove like a champ and made her way up to the back of #3 and was about to challenge for 3rd spot when the ESC once again started cutting out at 4:47.

Had all sorts of problems for the remaining 1 and 1/2 lap and fell to position 8 (last of the running cars).

Another dissapointing result but once again driving worthy of a future champ

In this A-Final 3 she only managed 12 laps in 5m 28.196sec with a best lap of 23.635 which gave her an 8th place for this last A-final.

Her last lap was a 1 min 01.781 sec due to the ESC problems

I ran my car for the first time last week. I build my slipper like the revised manual said and used the loosest position. On track I felt this was pretty when I accelerated a few times on the straight. My car was pulling wheelies and I couldn't hear the slipper.

I loosend it until I heard it and the wheelies were over. This was on a high grip astroturf track with a boosted ORCA TX 6.5T. Hadn't a problem with stripping gears and I ran the car hard.
In the beginning I was scared to strip the gears since the track was bumpy and had so much grip. But with a looser slipper, I hadn't problems. And it didn't slip too much. Just enough.

So to do the NT1 metal gear upgrade I will need two sets of these correct?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ential-Set-NT1

I only ask because it say for the rear but I think it's referring to the Xray NT1 nitro touring car.

I'm just want to make sure there is not a different part number for the front diff.

Thanks,
E...

Yes, the NT1 metal gears are the correct ones. I only replaced the rear diff gears with metal. The front shouldn't see that kind of force.

No, that link shows the complete NT1 diff.
You only need the metal gears and crosspins that go inside the diff.
These are the gears you need:
http://www.rcmart.com/xray-different...=595_1077_1078

And here are pins:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tial-Pin-Set-2

I don't think amain stock the gear sets.

So does Xray sell a different kit?

Or do I purchase two of these and just use the metal gears and crosspins for the front and rear upgrade.

No, you use the diffs that came with thw xb4 and just replace the internal gears and pins with the metal gears and pins from the links.
Just do a google search to find a hobbyshop where you can order the gears from. Use the part number from the first link.
Buying the gearset and pins are going to be a lot cheaper than buying the complete diffs.
