Thanks!
Search by part number rather than just looking under the parts for the XB4. Amain doesn't show ball cups for the XB4 either. But if you look up the part number you will find they have those as well.

oh, we are confused all right, you have the first report of breaking any ball thing rather than the tower or bulkhead

I broke one a while back, maybe my 2nd outing with the XB4. I thought I was a gymnast and decided to break out in some cartwheels while going over a triple double and snapped the ballcup at the end of the camber link. Nothing bent, just sheared.

I broke a ball cup as well. But I was airing out a 20 ft quad. I'm surprised I haven't broke more on the car so far. But it's tough enough I don't hold back anywhere on our 1/8 scale outdoor track. Only other cars that are doing that quad at our track are the 1/8th scales buggies.

I have also broken a few ball cups from big tumbles. I'm happy that the ball cup broke before anything else did.

I need to rebuild my XB4 for tomorrow, first real race this season for me. Going to try out some bladders in my shocks. Im quite curious how they will work. Going to run 6.5Turns since my 5.5 is too fast for the relative small track.

Let's go XB4!

RS is a 2wd ESC really. Might be ok for a high turn stock motor though?
You want an RS Pro for 4wd really.

I run an RS Pro and Tekin Gen2 7.5, and very happy with it in my XB4.

+1 to everything said. I run a Gen2 6.5 and the RSpro doesn't get hot at all. Works flawlessly. As soon as the new mod esc comes out that will go in to replace the RSpro.

Been thinking about building one of these. I'm really happy with the xb9 line. Any suggestions on
Esc/motor
Battery
And what spare parts to keep.

Thanks in advance.

Just a front shock tower/caster/spindles and put the full upgrade kit which comes from xray. Also people have been cracking outdrives so a pair should be enough. Car is really tough with the included upgrade kit. I run a hw v3 with a tekin gen 2 6.5 turn motor with a 19T~21T pinion.

Durango wheeler wheels fit perfect, just have to dremel a bit for the rears, the axles are a bit wide at the hex end. I noticed you are from norcal. Hit me up (run the xb4 every week) if your racing at DeltaRC in antioch, I run the electrics most saturdays over there. We race in evenings.

I would use the plastic sheetrock joint tape from Lowes and use it as a mask .
Or a tack cloth for auto paint store .
