I would also check to make sure the servo is not moving on the mounts when you have an impact. If the servo saver is tight, it possible the servo could shift on the mounts and throw off your trim even if the servo is centering to the same spot as before. If the trim issue remains constant after the crash (pulling the same amount to one direction until the next crash), I would make sure nothing is physically moving before you start replacing servos and other items.

This car doesn't seem to need a lot of servo. For a while I ran a 25 year old air94151 and it was fine. In fact the new faster stronger servo is actually a little trickier to drive. It needs you to pay attention as a driver. Which is fine by me, this car itself is so quick and agile it just makes it more fun.
It is rare but Iv'e seen servos fail to hold center so it is possible. Good advice to check everything else first though.

Default ESC/Motor recommendations for XB4

Looking for opinion/advice/recommendations....I'm trying to decide between the Team Orion R10 Vortex Pro ESC with a Team Orion Vortex Pro 6.5T or Tekin RS Pro with a Tekin Redline Gen2 6.5T. Apples to apples??? Or are there other brands to consider???

I have checked that but everything looks to be in the same place that was my first thought

fwiw Orion , but there is no simple answer
why for me ? ehh, tried both liked the way the Orion setup and drove out of the box. Ease of use and performance more than satisfactory. Still have the Twekin and it gets used.
