Default Team Associated Prototype 1/10 2wd Buggy

Just saw this on RCTVLIVE from Facebook.

I bet it will be like the batch of new 2wd coming out. Reversible transmission, aluminum chassis...etc.

If your referring to the 22..maybe. The chassis on the RB6 is ace. I hear no complaints about the DEX210 either. I had the 410 and loved it your in our thread enough, so I know your interested. DO IT

The performance of the RB6 is great thus far, but they're having issues with the chassis denting (doesn't seem to be affecting performance though). The 22 and Dingo are too rigid (IMO) for my home track. Great platforms where traction is in excess though.

alu is nice when you have high grip tracks
composite chassis is nice when you have less grip

I have a alu chassis in my dex210 and it is great, but I will be using a composite +8mm chassis soon wich will be better for my low grip dirt track

I'm not sure I agree, I can flex the 6 in my hands without all 3 screws in the sidepods .. I don't think you can do that with a b4

and i wouldn't say one company milling a mm or two too far means there is an issue with having a alloy chassis?

i don't see the connection? and didn't the orig b4 come with a chassis the entire team didn't even use?

This seems like a potential opportunity for metal plate chassis- tune-ability via screw bracing or different side pod molds/hardness. While an alloy chassis can be bent, when a composite chassis goes they can break completely. At any rate, if you're damaging the chassis then the car is enduring some seriously hard shots. If 3mm alloy is strong enough for 8lb nitro cars, then 2 or 2.5 of equal quality should have no trouble holding up to a 3.25lb buggy.

The original B4 came with a plastic chassis , don't like metal cus alloy chassis's bend and stay bent .

Not a good thing ...
