This site has almost everything you could ever need. You can even get sheets of carbon fiber to try making custom parts if you want.

I'll add another vote for fasteners-express. I bought all my titanium and aluminum screws, nuts, and washers from them and never had any trouble.

All those seem pretty decent, what sizes do most of you get/what size should I get if I own a B4.1 and I'm looking for parts.

You can download the parts listing from the Team Associated website here:

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca...1ft_b4.1ft.pdf

You'll see the screws listed as 4-40 x 1/2" SHCS or something similar. The first part "4-40" refers to the thread pitch, the second "1/2" refers to the length, and the last part "SHCS" means socket head, BHCS means button head, and FHCS means flat (countersunk) head.

I would not replace any load critical screws with aluminum. Also consider tapping holes before threading aluminum screws since it's easy to shear off an aluminum screw while threading it into a tight hole. Screws with small hex drives such as 1/16" tend to develop slop in the head after just a few uses, so buy spares since you'll be tossing them in the trash after inserting and removing them a few times. The larger 3/32" socket head screws seem to last a lot longer.

If you are just getting new steel screws, I suggest that you avoid stainless steel since it is generally softer than black oxide finished steel. As cheap as the black oxide screws are, if they start rusting, just put new ones in. Also, if the thread pitch and length are the same, you should consider swapping the button head screws out for socket head screws so that way you can use the larger 3/32" driver.

If you are doing a lot of screwing around get a good set of drivers such as these from Wiha:

I have had the same Wiha drivers for the past 7 years and they still work great with no slipping at all.
