Questions?? HELP! Traxxas velineon motor

I have the traxxas slash 4x4 ultimate and the velineon waterproof brushless motor is acting strange. I have looked around at different forums and stuff but I can't figure out what is wrong with it. Every time I go to drive the slash with the stock motor (velineon brushless) I hear the motor revving but the torque actually coming out is about 1/10 of what should be coming out of this motor please help me. I can't figure out what is wrong and how do I fix it?

Make sure the set screw on the pinion is tightened down well on to the motor shaft. Also try picking the vehicle up side to side and front to back to make sure the diffs/slipper clutch are working correctly to help try and zero in on the source of the problem.

You have probably de-bonded the magnet on the rotor (from heat). Very common, especially on the 4x4. It will act just as you have described. Take the can apart and pull the rotor. See if you can move the magnet.
