I only know 10th scale buggies...

Most durable for me has been the 22 and the RB5. Least durable was the dex210 and B4.

Iv never broken an axle. Well that's not true, I did break one... we have this "money maker" pole on our track, and if ANY buggy hits it with an arm while flying through the air... whatever you hit WILL break. I missed the pole with the front of the buggy, but caught the rear arm. Broke the arm AND the axle. You could feel the hit from upstairs. It's the only thing iv ever broken on my RB5, and it would of broken any axle.

The Dex210 on the other hand, had nothing BUT breaking issues... front shock tower, rear shock tower (i never broke one, but i know lots of people who have) , rear inner hing pin holder 3 times, gear cover broke itself... and I almost NEVER crash. The hing pin holders seemed to break themselves while just driving around the track. If you include the ridiculousness of the stock ball cups, it is easily the least durable buggy ever. YMMV.

Hey Tom,

This is Carmelo. Last year I started out with my B4.1 and it just seemed like I was always fixing something or trying to be real careful. On the advice from Mike and Allen at LH I decided to get a 22. Since then I've been impressed with the durability of the car. But sometimes I don't feel it handles as well as B4.1 and that's probably more my fault than the 22.

Aaron was doing quite well with the RB5 last year and it looked good on the track. I don't know if Aaron ever crashes so I can't say anything about its durability.

I can't speak to the other buggies mentioned in this thread as the ft B4.1 is the only 2wd buggy I've owned... But I havnt had a single breakage on it. I run a 9.5 turn motor on a track built to accomadate 1/8 and 1/10, but unless your 1/10 is running a hotter motor good luck clearing the jumps. It's a little bit aggressive for 1/10 and all I've ever broke was I bent the motor plate on a ugly crash that had the b4.1 doing speed endos. I've never broken any other parts and this car was my first venture into 1/10. So if it was this good to a noob...

Like I say, I havnt owned the other cars but the duribility of the AE has amazed me.

The old rb5 axles were aluminum. I went directly to the WC steels and have never broken any.
