Default thunder power motors any good?

My lhs has some of these motors for half price and was just wondering if they are any good......for 2wd buggy and truck use. Havent heard anyone using them here local so any info is appreciated!!!

I asked this question a while back and the consistent feedback I got on here and from local racers is that they are good for onroad and very average/below average for offroad. So I never tried one. FYI

For half price I would go for it, and if you don't like it you could sell it for what you bought it.

We have sold them at our hobbyshop for over a year and never had one from any racer or basher come back to us with problems. Can't say that with some of the other brands we sell.

A lot of our racers have been switching to the TP motors for 2wd mod buggy and 2wd mod SC.

I have two, 6.5 and a 10.5 and I love them. Thay have plenty of power if you boost the timing and thay stay vary cool if geared right. Will not buy any thing but TP. I have had no problems with both of them. Buy.... you will be happy.
