Default Castle or Leopard motor???

This... http://www.ebay.com/itm/271062514260...84.m1423.l2649

or

This... http://www.ebay.com/itm/RC-Sea-3650-...item3cb83cd99f

Application : Slash 2wd running 2s lipo just bashing/racing with friends

I currently run the 3800kv Castle 4 pole and I want some more speed on 2s to keep up with my buddy's 2 pole Feigao 8s motor that is like a 4700kv. I will most likely ditch my Sidewinder SCT esc in favor of my MMpro once I get the new motor, too.

I would go castle just in case you need warranty support.

Just gear up the 3800kv Castle; that motor is stronger than the other two.

Hard to convince me of "too powerful" because I am used to a MMM/CC1520 1600kv 6s monster truck... The Slash is used in mostly wide open high speed type running so lots of top end is what I'm after, but also need the torque to keep things running smooth and cool in a variety of rough, high drag terrains like long grass, rough dirt, etc...

I will increase pinion size and see how this 3800kv does geared way up and on 2s, guess I need to just sell this sidewinder esc before I blow it.

Well, your experience is from a different league, and I get your point that you have non-track needs...
All I can say is, I have one Leopard motor (Leo 4065 at 1800KV) in one of my 1/8 buggies, and that is a powerful beast. No problems so far.
