its not necessarily a bad thing but i can't see why you'd replace the decent kyosho shocks with something that looks obviously inferior and to go back in time & fit the 17 degree front end defies logic

it has threaded shocks (look like OFNA) & the old 17 degree front end! the K3 had the 22 degree front end & longer 3.5mm shafted shocks! plus even the wheelhubs & nuts are still the silver ones where the K3 had blue anodised ones

the new steering geometry was the maiin selling point of the K2 & K3 so why would you want to swap back to the earlier less caster version?

strange
I threw the 17 degree on there just to test it out, curious what the difference was, I normally run the 20's, and yes I have a surplus of used 7.5 parts laying around that I bought as a lot from Ebay. Shocks are GPM. Bought them because they have threaded bodies, and work just as well as the stock shocks, again just wanted to test them. They were only $40, so if they were $hit I was going to chuck them. BTW, check all the pics, I was running silvers for a while because the first set of blues faded quick and got all scratched up and looked like cr4p, but switched back just recently because my LHS had a set in stock (rare for them). Anyway, thanks for your concern.

BTW, you missed the fact that I have 777 sideguards.

its not really a concern but there seems to be an ever increasing number of cars being offered for sale as a Kanai2 for example when in reality the car is little more than a hopped up sport version! i'm glad you weren't one of the people fooled into buying one, but there are plenty of Mix & match "Kanai's" all over ebay & if we stop just one person frombeing ripped off by highlighting the differences then i'm happy

Thats cool that youre looking out for people who may be less educated about the RC world, because the scammers seem to be everywhere now. I also hear what you are saying about Ebay, I see it all over as well. Seems that even some of the parts sold seperately on Ebay are being mis-represented more and more frequently as well. It's truly sad.
