I too have been looking for a good pit box to carry forth my arsenal After looking around Goooooogle and the forum I have decided that Losi, Proline, (insert favorite top R/C brand here) pit bags are way over priced for what other non R/C bags / boxes can offer. Here are the two I'm looking at:

PDY systems:
w w w.pdysystems.com/tool_buy.php

Stanley Consumer Storage 029025R 24 Gallon Mobile Chest:
w w w.rctech.net/forum/nitro-off-road/431887-1-8-racers-biggest-baddest-rc-pit-bag-what-do-you-use-2.html

Still can't post URL's as frustrating as it is I understand...

This is what I use: http://www.stanleytools.com/default....e+Work+Station

Stores everything I need. I cna also fit a 22 Buggy in it with the wing if i needed to. But I carry everything in there tools, shock oils, tires, transmitters under the top tool tray. Everything you use for RC will fit with no worries. I use Plastic stack-able bins for tools to go in the bottom. Really with the money for me any way. I race 2wd buggy and Short course and my son races so more than enough room for all my stuff.

I've had them all at one time or another, this is the best way to go hands down

This is what I use!
I got mine on clearance for 1/2 price even!

http://www.target.com/p/ful-grey-ful...l/-/A-12250773

All of my plastic organizer trays fit in the bottom zippered section, and everything else (except cars) fits in the upper section (batteries, battery chargers, setup equipment, soldering iron, towels, etc).

Plus added bonus it is wheeled and had an extendable handle to pull it!

PLUS when you empty it it can double as luggage for vacation!

I said it before, and I'll say it again

The materials on this bag are really nice and I don't even mind the loud color scheme. I could not beat the price at $109 shipped to my door from tower hobbies. I picked up the radio case a while back and it fits my DX2S perfectly.

When I first put it all together, I was pretty bummed that my Plano plastic organizer boxes did not fit into any of the smaller drawers. I ended up just leaving out 1 of the drawers and placing the plano boxes in it's place. Works perfectly!!

In summary, I highly reccomend that everyone stop being cheap and pick up a nice hauler bag. It helped me organize all my crap really well. All of my track day stuff is there, even my SC truck in the Dialed bag.

BOOM. This is what I have for traveling. Actually, it's the 9800, but still awesome.

I have the wingtote for 1/8 scales and it has tons of room. However, sliding the drawers in (the bottom 2) can be a pain in the a$$ if you don't put them in at an angle or remember there is a divider to negotiate.

Great box. My only issue is it does not fit under the pit tables. When it's real crowded it can be in the way.
