These things have taken off at our track. We have about a dozen racers. All SC10B's except two Losi's. By far the most fun we have at the track. These cars handle so good.

Sweet looking rides. Are they completely stock? I have two being delivered tomorrow. I had the Losi but I think the Associated are much nicer looking and from what I've seen they handle way better.

Compared to a shoebox maybe. They are dogs compared to a decent buggy.

ok...sorry for this, but i got lost here...been outta the game way to long

We run 17.5 blinky, 8.5 FDR

i don't know how to compare the motors by turns only by kv...i know back in the day it was all by turns (i used to run a gm purple bull)...now i'm lost with all the changes, sorry and be patient with me please, lol

so for the omaha races with a sc10b...i can switch out anything (servo and esc are my main concern) as long as the motor is within limits and the chassis stays stock dimensions with oem tires...correct?

also,is the oem motor sufficient???

if i wanna swap the motor, what specifics do i look for?

i wanna get another set of rear tires for messing around my place also, but wanna switch up the wheels...i follow that the front and rear use the 12mm hex,but not sure on the specifics to look for,is it the same as the scte wheels?

The Slash LCG was stock, but has been replaced with a Losi SCTE. The SC10B was stock in this pic but now runs with aftermarket shocks and Lundsford titanium turnbuckles and hinge pins. The motor and esc are stock and I'm winning the A main with it that way.

Sorry maybe I'm dumb, but can someone explain to me the appeal of racing short course buggy? Short course trucks I get, they're fun. Short course buggy seems pretty much exactly like the trucks but more fragile.

With SCTs moving to 1/8 buggy platforms and SCBs basically SCTs with a buggy body, isn't SCB essentially 1/8 buggy with 1/10 electrionics?

Not trying to be a jerk at all, maybe just missing something.

They jump way better, not parachuting. The scale aspect appeals to people. Open wheel so you have to race clean which makes for way better racing.

Why not just race 1/8 or 1/10 electric buggy?

Seems like a class that kit makers want to sell more units when it doesn't really offer anything that's not already out there. Except scale looks I guess, but you could probably fit the SCB bodies to a 1/8 buggy.

I'm having a blast racing mine. I got the sc10b and my 3 brother in laws and father in law have the xxx-scb. Mix in a few others at the track and we always have a good showing of scb's. And yes these are a blast, most fun I've had with RC since I was a kid with my first nitro car

Yeah, we have an excellent SCB turnout every week at our track. Totally fun!
