Tekin gen2 motors - early oct!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, i was just looking on tower hobbies website and all the stock for gen 2 motors are meant to arrive in early october.

also turning this into a bit of a question. Would i want a 13.5t or a 13.5t rpm? I'm allowed to adjust timing, and am racing in pro2. Is the rpm version just meant for no timing at all?

I'm sure they will be, they were already great motors. The 1st generation have definitely proven themselves. In my opinion they are equal or better than any motor out there. I will definitely be keeping an eye on the GENII to see how they have improved them.
And,
To answer your question. If you want to adjust the timing I would stick to the regular version. I believe adding timing to the RPM version would hinder low end torque and spike temps.

Yup. Priced in line with everyone else. There are some that are $5-10 cheaper and some that are $5-10 more expensive.
Price of neodymium goes up, so does the cost of brushless motors. Motor costs have been rising for quite some time. I wouldn't be surprised if we aren't paying ~$120 in the next couple years for a 540 motor.
