The fact he ran an LRP esc at the Cactus means nothing.... Francis uses them and he DEF. is not going to AE!

I don;t think ryan would moved to AE unless they made a huge deal with him. Ryan has been in the top 5 and more so the top 3 in the last few big races that have just happened and he was using the Losi cars. Plus, he has been with Losi for quite along time now. I doubt that he'll change.

Current associated Team manager Brent Thielke and "Coach" Kurt Wenger are clearly building a Team around some talented young Drivers (Tebo, Maifield, Montgomery, Cragg, Pillars, & Dassonville just to name a few) that will hopefully stay with the company for years. I also know they wanted to take a more grass-roots approach and nurture top Drivers regionally and not just Nationally.

Associated's own recent write-up of the Cactus seems to give off a clue that Cavalieri will soon be wearing Associated Blue! This is the first time I have ever seen them refer to a current Losi Driver as a "Friendly Rival" on their web-site. It's probably only a matter of time now.... Here is the link:

i know that he runs LRP means nothing. somebody said that it would be cool to see him run LRP stuff before (or something close). just stating that he already does. personally i would like to see him run Orion stuff but i dont think that will ever happen.

I think Pillars still runs Orion and runs for AE. Maybe the move will be paired with the announcement of a new 1/10 nitro truck....lol Just dreaming....hehe

Great news.

Hopefully we'll start seeing AE on top a bit more lately.

His AE contract starts on 4-1 from what I understand.

I dont really think it's cool to say what he's going to be paid over the internet though, dont know who gave you the info but they propably didnt think it would be broadcast on here...

April 1? That would be a pretty quick settlement...

Agreed, don't post personal info like that on the internet. You never know what could happen...

let me preface this by saying having him drive for AE would be awesome. Its about time i get to read about someone good joining AE, rather than someone great leaving.

but now, am i the only one that thinks its odd that cavaliari's contract starts on APRIL FOOLS DAY? think people, think.
