Motor?
Tekin by miles: more kv options, smoother, runs sensored or sensorless, better built quality, lower temps, longer runtimes for the same kv etc..
I've run them both and I think tekin motors are the best for the price. I NEVER heard or read about someone who regretted buying a T8, never. I got 1,2,3,4,5...yes 5 of them and had only one failure two years ago on a rotor on a 2050. They did a mod since then and they are bulletproof now.
I've had three 2200kv castle motors, strong motor with a lot of torque but on a track you'll be faster with a T8 1900. If it's for bashing only, pick the one you want they're both reliable

Oh man you open up a can of worms on this lol. I never ran a Tekin and motor on my 1/8 scale . I run a Castle Mamba /2200kv and il tell you this i never had one blow on me or get hot on the ESC . I race with guys that run Castles also they have 0 issues other than making mistakes and causing one to blow up . You can make the powerband smoother also on that system.
As for the motor the 2200kv its pretty torquey and stays in a reasonable temp.
I race to.

Tekin motors are above the rest in performance. If ur racin w a castle ur missin out bigtime. Way smoother equals faster laps!!!
