Default NEW XXX-S/4 Battery Placement Ideas

running a saddle pack type deal??kinda only in a straight line

3 batterys in the rear...
3 in the front...

leave the 1 cell gap in the middle?

i run on a very high bite surface....

I've done this before. I found it to be a nice medium between to much front weight, and to much rear weight.... but I'm guessing you've already figured this out.

I liked to do it when running the battery all the way forward provided to much front weight, but running it in the back made the car push just a bit to much for my tastes.

It's just another adjustment that worked well for me on a medium bite track, but then I changed tracks to an indoor, well prepped, high bite track and found that running the batt all the way forward was usually the best.

in both my xxx cars i have only used the forward postition, i found that when at the back it gave the car super understeer but thats probably because i set my cars up for batt forward. i have also tried cells split, i found the car went gimp
