So I've seen people use b6 arms but has anyone ran yokomo arms? They seem to match up to the b6 bulkhead almost perfectly.

Are we using these to drill or are we running one hole pistons now?!

I have no info, heard no rumor, but if they have something new we should see it at the Worlds in a few weeks.

What lightweight battery do you use if you don't mind me asking?

Reedy 3900mah 70c low profile. Almost 50 grams weight savings. There are better ways to shed weight but until my kid starts driving better I like a heavy duty full size servo and not super concerned about a higher output 100c battery just yet. This battery seems to have great power though.

In my opinion it’s nice to get the new chassis/side guards, but if you don’t want to, you can drill holes for the tranny. I think you only need to drill 2 holes?
LD trans case
6.6 camber plate/bulk head
Rf hinge pin holder
LD motor plate
LD gear cover optional
The 6.6 idler is optional too depends on if you run 3 gear or 4 gear. If running mod, go 4gear, wich you should already have all those parts

You will have to drill 2 holes in your stock rb6 chassis to make it work. I would suggest buying a new chassis as it is wider and also makes the car feel a lot more planted.

If you click on the link at the top of the page for the full wiki it has all the part #'s listed for everything you need.

Why would you suggest a 4 gear or 3 gear just based on what motor he is running?

In a few months a 1/10 scale track is going to open near me and since I'm driving 1/8 already, I decided to get a "cheap" 1/10 buggy. Do you think the RTR version of the Ultima is going to be okay for the beginning?
My Mugen is still going to be my main buggy, I just want a secondary buggy to have some fun with on the track

Since your already a racer, I'd say find a used RB6.6 and use the radio gear you already have. If your a racer you'll be looking to upgrade everything on the RTR pretty quick so just start with what you'll eventually end up with and save some money. I picked up a used 6.6 and R10.1 speed control and have had great sucesss. Battery and servo and motor wear out so grab those new. I've even had good luck with used batteries and motors if you know somebody and aren't afraid to replace bearings and servos can be rebuilt. You can save a lot of money and end up with high end stuff if you know how.

If you just want to play and not really compete then ya, I'd say the KYO RTR is second to none for out of the box performance compared to other RTR kits.
