Does anyone know if there is a shim In the kit that allows you to move the rear tower back and run the shocks on the back of the tower when using the laydown transmission? I know Tebo is running his shocks on the rear of the tower with the laydown on clay, but I did not see the option in the manual. I Thought maybe someone in here had some insight.

I just ordered a couple of the new 3 gear gear box sets and the reverse gear covers, should be lots of fun when they get here. Thanks for the heads up Toby.

After studying the manual and my spare chassis, this looks to be the only difference in the two chassis'. Just drill out those two holes for the front of the diff case and your ready for a laydown tranny.
Also looks like the laydown uses the same UM740 bulkhead as the 3 gear.
Are these parts available yet? Also, does the laydown use the same ball diff gear, idler and top shaft as the other diffs? Same as the RB6 diff internals?

Elongate two holes
Personally, I don't mind drilling new holes, I don't mind enlarging holes, but countersinking an enlarged hole is annoyingly difficult without a mill and a setting plate.
And of Coz, drill the two holes for the laydown gearbox itself.

Are folks drilling because the chassis isn't available?
When will the chassis be available?
When will the chassis be available?

Anyone have experience ordering from Kyosho's website? Do the parts ship from the US or overseas?
