their next version of the RB6 for hi-bite tracks looks like a DEX210F
http://www.redrc.net/2016/03/kyosho-...onversion-kit/
which will be rather expensive

I really wish someone from Kyosho could tell us if one will be available soon. Tired of modding rear motor cases.

The only part of the case that I did a mod on was to make a hole at the top of the case so that the top shaft would poke out.
I then used 8mm of shims (I will double check that measurement tonight) along with cutting the plastic motor spacer. You will need a spacer on the top shaft for the bearing so that it isn't sliding back and forth in the transmission case. Then I purchased 44mm long screws and put it all together. If the screws went to far past the motor plate I just placed shims on the head end as needed.
I will try and get a picture of mine tonight but I am getting ready to go to a race this weekend and I might not have time.
Parts I had to acquire.
YOKZC-A3630B
YOKZC-A3620B
TRA2592
XRA353371 <-- I think this will work as the top shaft spacer
I cut this part to separate the top from the bottom two holes.
KYOUM523
Then I acquired a new gear cover from a guy on FB.

I did the rear motor case mod like kraig listed above and also one using one of the printed brackets being sold. I feel the non-printed route is the way to go. Everything lines up better and the trans spins much more free. My printed one didnt quite line up perfect and always felt hung up.
The pics on petit are great, explains it clearly.
Pics from races show the team drivers running a lay down and new chasis. I hope they come out. I recently ran the TND lay down kit on turf and it seemed pretty good. I need to work on my setup some as the rear was too loose and laptimes suffered some.
Best the car has been for me is with the 3 gear case, but I'm going to put in more time with the lay down. We'll see.

The low profile car is no longer just rumor, kyosho team drivers tested it at the northwest indoor series finalle At TRCR
Its really nice. the rear shock tower is now carbon fiber and mounts kinda like the yz2. I have more pictures but no body off pictures are allowed Yet

TND is 3 gear, I think. This appears to be 4 gear.

Hello! Could someone do me a huge favor and measure the exact distance between the holes (center to center) on one RB6 wing mount? Thanks!
(Between the two vertical holes on one mount for mounting on the shock tower)

I liked the video but I always struggled with putting in just the right amount of oil so I went back to my old routine.
Fill the oil up to the first thread.
Extend the shock shaft so the eyelet bottomed out on the shock bottom.
Place the piston into the shock body but let gravity pull it down into the body.
Once the shock bottom reaches the shock body help align it into the body so that the treads line up.
Turn the shock bottom so that it starts to thread into the body.
Wait for 1 second to give the excess oil time to escape.
Continue to turn, wait, turn, wait process until the shock bottom is tight.
Pump the shock shaft a few times and then bottom out the eyelet to the bottom of the shock and release.
Hopefully you should not have any rebound or maybe just a little bit.
If you have more than you like, loosen the shock bottom, push the shock shaft down, wait for a little bit and then re-tighten the shock bottom.
I hope that made sense.

I know the RZ6 conversion is out.
But, what do you mean low profile rear end, and carbon towers? Is that car gonna be a new kit? Or conversion?
More then 1 new rb6 coming out?
Finally got my Jconcepts tires, Trinity D4 motors, and Trak Power 100C 5200 MAH saddle packs. These Trakpower lipos charged to 5,591 MAH I was impressed.
Still waiting on my Team Orion R10 Pro will be here the 18th. I was lucky to find a brand new R10 Pro for $150 shipped. Great ESC from what I hear, with good software.
Will be turning laps shortly! Obviously, I've got a heavier car with these saddles they weighed 273 grams. Although that's why I decided on a 6.5t D4.
I installed the Bro Codes rear, and bar codes front both blue soft.

Let us know how it goes. I have been thinking about getting one and using it on dirt with a 17.5.
