I dont say anything about the price and im not a fanboy of anything.. I just dont see the point in bringing some useless information in the mix, it clearly says its a conversion kit, why start complaning that it is not..

Also was wondering if any one try the sworkz 12 3 gear laydown transmission on a rb6 but with the sworkz chassis.
I find also interesting in the fact that U can to put the rear shocks in front or rear of the shock tower
Thanks !

Welcome to the forum!

For the sideways batter you have to cut the plastic side rails in order to get it to fit. You can also grind down the chassis too but in my opinion it isn't necessary.

In my part of the country, the sworkz 12 cars do not exist so I will not be able to answer this question. However, we are patiently waiting for this type of chassis. From what I can tell, Jared has been using that same chassis that the rest of the team used at the World's here in the U.S. on the dirt tracks. From what I have read, probably a rumor, is that this chassis is longer than the existing one and also wider to accommodate the sideways battery.

As for the shock tower mod to re-position the shocks, it seems like a good thing to do. It puts the shock tower directly over the back edge of the car which would make it similar to the Losi and B5M. Those cars seem to have no problem with rear end grip.

Does anyone know which car Jared will use at the Cactus race coming up? Since it it indoors and I believe it to be high grip do you think the RZ6 will make an appearance? I have a gut feeling that we may see the lay-down transmission cars make an appearance.

Is it possible for springs to be worn out? On both cars, my rear spring adjusters are maxed out at the bottom of the threads to maintain 24mm ride height. I'm on the inner hole on the arm also. Bought both these cars used so who knows how old the springs are....

Have you checked the shock o-rings? It sounds like dirty/swelled o-rings.

I'm not sure if a RC spring can weaken, unless it has been abused (over-compressed).

Guh....
That's it. I've never changed them.

Now I feel dumb because Kraig adivsed me to swap them out a while ago but they don't leak and still feel smooth.

I'm on it.
Thanks for the advice!

So what is it then? Really like the shocks on front of the arms out of harms way.

Could be kyoshos actual 3 gear mm tranny. I've heard they have one in the works for release soon. Could be that. Certainly on the right side for 3 gear.

It looks like a lay down 3 gear transmission . It definitely isn't the RZ6 .

Appears to be the car the rest of the team drivers used at the worlds. We know Jared used the RZ6.

OK FANBOY . Its clearly way over priced for a conversion kit . You obviously didn't see the price for a CONVERSION . I don't see your point in saying its useless information . The only thing useless is your comment . Now go find the price for the conversion and the RB6 then say something .

You're probably better off buying an RB6 kit, and then purchase the RZ6 conversion.

However, piecing one together does allow you to swap out some parts that you may never use from the kit to begin with, and save quite a bit of money. (Ceramic Bearings, Steering Rack, carbon towers, carbon arms, titanium turnbuckles, ballstuds, aluminum rear hubs, desired spring rates, etc)

The price of the ZX6 is $580 (amain), and the price for the RB6 is $399 (amain). If the conversion is $386 (which we don't know what it will cost here in the states yet.) that seems kinda high, but makes since given how much a complete ZX6 costs.
