More inside typically means more traction while outside is better for bumps/stability.

B-B was popular at first and it seems JPT's latest setup has D inside so the bushings are reversed. It's 4 screws.... see what works for your setup.

I emailed Exotek to find out if they were designed for the Avid top shaft and here is what they said:

Hi Sir,

All our testing have been on the stock factory team equipment so no feedback on the Triad aftermarket sorry.
Could you let me know how it goes? If not compatible then you are welcome to send the parts back.

The good news is the RB6 spur mount should be in stock here in March.

Thanks for your support,

Mike Rydwell

They are the 2 3x8 flathead screws on the bottom of the chassis that hold down the center bulkhead.

I use precision twist C50R10PM drill set and i bought a metric drill gage in case the smaller bits get mixed up by accident. I got it on amazon and the gage was from a local machine shop supply. And then i use general tools pin vise, the one w the big black handle

For you guys running mid motor and want to push the battery back further, I did this in about 15 min using the stock chassis and a piece of scrap metal. I did have to drill 2 counter sunk holes in the chassis for the placement of the front battery stop and 2 holes through the rear post dealies for the metal to go across the rear for the battery to rest against.

Hi Everybody,

I just install the Avid HD Long Rear Axle and nut, i have the feeling that the Kyosho Rim touch the bearing of the hub after tightened the wheel nut.
It looks not as free as with original Kyosho Axel and nut.

Anybody facing the same problem? Do i do something wrong? Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

Ciao,

Ciao,

'In order to use the stock RB6 rear wheels, you will need drill them out to fit over the larger axle. Avid recommends a body reamer from the inside and it will do the job nicely. AVID HD Long Axles can only be used with AVID HD Rear Hex Adapters.'

Cool i may have look in to that stuff. I found the drill bit, but I just wanted to make sure it was the right one. I normally just turn the dremel by hand with and leave it turned off.
