Kit is on its way Excited!
Curious what pinion you guys think I should match up with a 6.5T motor? A little overkill no doubt for indoor carpet racing, but it's what I've got to use pulled from the Yokomo I have in my signature.
Would I be ok with an 18 tooth, or should I be running something more like a 20/21/22? I'll probably turn down my end point a bit on the throttle since they are fairly tight technical tracks and by all means not large.

My RS wouldn't fit with my shorty pack setup. I decided to put the receiver under there instead.

1.) Go up on shock oil.
2.) Another way to change the way the car rolls is to play with ballstud spacers. Go down on the inner and you get the car to have less roll. Or go up on the outside washers. Good for high bite stuff.
3.) if it's the rear, try the flat arms.
4.) Stand the shocks up more vertical. (probably a last resort).
See if any of those help.

With an RB6 on the way and a semi-large race coming up quickly after delivery I need to go ahead and order some spares/ setup upgrades without getting my hands on the car first. Any help on what I should order would be appreciated. Planning on running mid motor. Indoor/Medium Traction/Clay track

my build is almost done and im just re checking everything before i put my electronics on....
i been reading when this buggy came out like a year now it had minor issues but now fixed.. my question is do i still have to trim the front bulkhead for the steering rack so it dont bind while turning side to side? i looked at it and it seems fine.. did they fix this also?

Install the servo, put it in position and see if you have enough clearance.

I have the plastic bulkhead as spares, c hubs and arms, but have not actually broken them yet, I wore out a set of front arms, still not broken.
Might want to pick up losi 55 pistons, or ghea 4x1.3mm or similar, I never liked the stock pistons.

Hey buddy..... Here is a few things to try and see if it works for ya. I think if the car is rolling too fast/hard...
1.) Go up on shock oil.
2.) Another way to change the way the car rolls is to play with ballstud spacers. Go down on the inner and you get the car to have less roll. Or go up on the outside washers. Good for high bite stuff.

i'm running the stock pistons with 30f 25r losi oils.
hey trevor. I havnt made it out to smak yet at all this year. I race indoor carpet on saturdays out at jakes race place. I'm going to try to make it out there thursday nights once my holiday schedule at work slows down a little bit. I'm actually heading out to blaze later today to pick up a few parts and some clay tires.

Quick tip for anyone using the RB5 UM521 arms, I didn't have a set of rb5 pins for the outer hingepins and had seen others reuse the 6 ones, I also didn't have a 3mm drill bit, but I was able to ream out the captured end very easily, it's apparently not very thick, and the pin now went all of the way through.
