When traction is super high (after a fresh layout on slicks or ghost pins), I do... after 3 or 4 weeks, I go back to 0s.

guys if you put the wing on the buggy and take a sharp cutter and remove the little body clip nipple you can drill a hole and tap it to use screws as wing mounts. then you can use and shim any thickness wing.. I ad a nut under the wing mount for piece of mind

just picture 8th scale wing mount.....how you screw the wing in from the top.

cut the nipple off on the existing wing mount so that the top of it is flat. take a small drill bit and make a hole. Use 4-40 screws (they tap plastic better) and thread the screw all the way down through the mount. put a lock nut on the other side when done.

Tip.....use a 3/32 cap head screw to 'tap' the threads. then switch to a 1/16th counter sink along with a counter sink washer for a cleaner look after you have the hole cut right

This is what I did when I ran the RB5, but the RB6 wing mounts are much skinnier, and it doesn't look like there would be enough material around the threads of the screw to work. Maybe something smaller than an M3 might work.

Did you get an M3 screw to work?

Did jconcepts or exotek say they are doing aluminum mounts? My only concern is that the mount sticks on the hard to get to gear box rather than just the tower. So aluminum there might be a bit risky if the gearbox breaks.
