Hey guys I have question. Does the RB6 out of the box drive and handle as well as the RB5 fully hopped up? I'm getting back into 2wd buggy and want the best to start back. After buying the kit and electronics I want to be where I left off, or better than the RB5 I had. Ill just be broke after. No hop ups for a while...What do you guys think??

The fronts will rub on the spindle but rears will work fine with serrated wheel nuts but they are 1mm narrower making the whole rear end 2mm narrower. Unless you have stock on jconcepts monos just use Kyosho wheels, they are far better quality and not much more expensive.

the rb6 is a better car then the 5 as imo.. great right out of the box.. the only hop up that i would get asap is the front wide suspension hanger in aluminum.. and personally thats it. the rear arms that come stock alot of guys switch out but the car is better on the gullwing(6) arms I have a basic setup on the petitrc forum which is a great easy to drive starting point.. you will not be disappointed with this car

I have 8 sets of the rears and around 2-3 of the fronts. Best wheels for me. They scratch up less than the factory ones and are the same offset. The rears need a low pro or a serrated lock nut but they don't come off easily and hold glue really well with that small lip on the outer sides.
