I set my car up mid motor last night as well and gave it some laps I had to try it. Worked pretty well, had to stiffen the rear a bit and mess with ride height. Had to baby the throttle, but after te track was swept it had great grip. Nearly as much as my rear configuration. I feel like it might easily be as fast. So it comes down to personal preference on driving style for me. I have always driven rear motor so I will most likely go back. But it is maybe more fun to drive in mid but no faster yet.
I will have to race it tonight in mid as I don't have time to change back. Tonight will really be the test.

[QUOTE=B00t13g;11838324]There were some goldish gunmetal balls that you can see some people using in the shock ends. I would just like to see who's using them and their opinions.[/QUOT
i used losi aluminum balls in my lower shock ends. plastic up top where it rubs the aluminum shock cap. I would like to find a nice set of delrin balls for the top though.

Not sure on the set up, the track will definetly have traction, but will have an affect on tires and wear, tires will probably be 1 runs. Were gonna be trying some different tires and see how they last. My son has been using Tebos setup from WCRC-Reedy, and is extremely happy with it, we've went to a few other tracks with it and has only change tires

Okay cool, was just making sure it wasn't going to affect anything major, tires will still be bar type, I've already ordered tires. But can buy tires there if needed...plan on either trying that setup or the SRS setup on Petit.
What tires do y'all typically run? Trying to get opinions!

Usually SRS is ran wet, so trying dry track is hard, but theres 2 indoor tracks here that we practice on, and Brandon favors the HB Beams or PL Suburbs. Theres only probably 2-3 locals that run K cars so were scarce right now
