He runs wider axles, but then runs the narrow front track width. From what I figure, he uses it to lower his roll center in front using the lower control arm. The RB5 axles/hexes allows him to keep the same track width. (roughly)

So is he running the SP2 caster block or the SP2 WC caster block? And is he also running the older arms?

Yeah, I see that on the CRCRC setup sheet. So what is Brandon talking about with the narrow track width. I thought that could only be changed through the caster block...

I'm pretty sure the only non-stock RB6 parts he's running are the front axles and the rear arms. Just consider those to be tuning aids. It shouldn't worry you at all.

I actually see it as a huge benefit that we can still use RB5 parts on this new kit. When Losi dropped the 22 there was almost zero interchangeability with the old XXX series.

Haha Tebo's setup is not the end all for highest speed. Its the fastest setup for his style of driving. There are a tonne of other pro setups which don't use any rb5 parts. Pros will often try those things out. Just drive the car stock and get a feel for it before ya get bummed out.

+10 drive a stock 6 and tell me it's not heads above the cars out there. They say the 5 arms free the car up in the rear but they every setup I've seen they're adding more toe to lock it back down. I bought the -1 arms but I'm so in love with how it handles now I won't make the change any any soon.

This is the only car where I think 10 times before changing setups from my baseline setup. The car has gotten so quick so fast that it seems pointless . I have narrow RF RR holders, the rb5 spares and springs and all but really pointless to argue with lap times .

Only things I change are the tires, between m4 hole shot(low traction cold weather or in mornings for qual) or green 3ds/bar codes (for when the groove sets in or practice days right after they run nitro and the tracks oiled in) for the rears. The front worn in suburbs m4 work the best for me (tried hole shot m4 fronts did not like the steering too inconsistent for me).

When you flip the inserts around, hole closest to then center of the car it moves the caster blocks out. Flipping the insert moves the caster block the other way. So Tebo is running the hole farthest from the center of the car which narrows the front end but he is running the RB5 axles in the front with the wider hex than the stock piece so he is pushing the wheels back out. I am not a suspension genus so I can't tell you what it does.

I accidentally bought this one rather the regular um720 part. Whats the difference between this and the stock part? I just took a look and it appears they are the same size.
