Had the rango. Hated it. Got a used rb5 and even without tuning it, was way way better than the rango. the shocks itself put it a cut above the rest. Building my rb6 tomorrow but if the older ones better than the rango then for sure this woudl be too . Go for it.
On a side note, never had trouble with the rango ball diff esp with bfast kits.

Considering picking up an RB6 to replace my 210, as I'm finding the 210 poor in low traction conditions (grip/balance) and in high grip the ball diff isn't up to the job (gear diff is slower!) and is inconsistent (but still quicker than gear diff!)
Looking to hear from people who have either tried both or have made the switch themselves. Did your laptimes fall and become more consistent?

Regardless, the RB6 is a better car all around. Just find somebody that has one dialed in to your track, and ask to drive it.

The second one is butter. Mine bent too easily.
Don't get it in the kit form instead order 6 of the thicker 3.5mm version rather than the 3.0mm. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Turnbuckles-4.
Do not go for the longer ones they will not work with the kyosho long ends. You will have to order the shorter ones instead from kyosho for the lazer or something.

I love my RT5 as well and although it works fantastic on dirt it doesn't always work well on Astroturf/carpet tracks. That is why i was looking to try a mid motor configuration like a lot of the guys in europe do. Seems to work well for them. Obviously it will take more than just the chassis and front end parts won't it? What about the 4 gear tranny, etc...?

Wonder why the dropped the RB5 WC vented slipper from the RB6. I know it shares same slipper parts as FS, so cost saving..?
Anyone using vented slipper? Also been mentioned that some are upgrading the motor plate.

Of course it will take more then what I mentioned, but I was talking about a rear motor car. I don't have any tracks near me where it is worth the time investing resources to try and get mid motor working on the 6. Although out of the 3 rear/mid motor cars the Kyosho would probably be the easiest to find a mid motor setup for. Maybe Hot Rod Hobbies on a blue grooved track it would work.

It wasn't really designed for mid motor, just like the 22 has mid-motor as an afterthought and the DEX210 is a mid-motor car with rear motor as an afterthought.
