I noticed that product revision also. I'm trying to find out. I'll put up what I find (if anything...).

Thanks - my box is 34302, and I'm very curious if something/anything changed with the "B."

I think they just announced them.

If you want some graphite towers now check out the ones Jared sells. Then you can setup your car exactly like his are.

I asked Pillars and he said nothing had changed. My hunch is its possible its just a 2nd 'batch' of kits maybe ? Would love to look at a 'B' kit parts explosion and see if there are any updated parts, that usually have a 'B' or 'C' at the end...

Awesome. Makes me feel a little better. My box isn't as flashy as the new box - it's just kinda matte gray and plain looking, but who cares. It's a box. Ha
What's in the box is what matters.
Thanks

I'm considering a new 2wd buggy and I want to try a Kyosho. I'm seeing the RB6 with a shaft drive conversion. Is that or the 6.6 better?

Maybe you mean it has a pucks system in it or something? If money isn't a concern get the new 6.6.

He's referring to the RZ6 vs. the RB6.6. The RZ6 is the shaft driven conversion he's describing.

The RZ6 is a hybrid car (half RB6, half ZX6) made for really high grip tracks, carpet and astro. Of course it can be tuned to a point for less grip, but the RB6.6 seems to be a better allaround car with several layout configurations. So it really depends on the type of track you will be running on.

Gotcha. That's what I was wondering. Is the 6.6 good as is out of the box, or am I going to need anything else to make it competitive?

It's great out of the box. Only thing I'd consider might be the aluminum steering rack. Other than that I'd rock it stock.

I own a 6.6 laydown and standup running stock. Prefer it to all buggies I've had thus far. Have not driven it mod yet. Does this buggy have the forward grip of the b6 and other competitors in MOD using the 3 gear laydown? I've noticed a recent trend that a lot of people runnning mod with a laydown are running 4 gear. Wondering why that is. Considering trading my b6 for another 6.6 to run solely in Mod
