The springs and shock pistons too if I remember correctly.

You can get most of the parts for the 6.6 except for the chassis. At least the first shipment here to the U.S. had the other parts.

The new parts are backwards compatible and no additional work is required to install them unless you want to run the laydown transmission. Then you have to add two holes to the 6 chassis.

^^What he said.

Also, Rear Arms included have the extra hole UM713.

Most of the bits are listed here: http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/Replace...ts_c_1537.html

Has anyone replaced the drive pins on their drive shafts? Either with the HUDY or Mugen tool, or perhaps a vise, or worse pliers? I have the mugen tool, and I'm wondering which pins I should pick up. I don't want to cut my own, so I'd prefer pre cut. Thanks for the input! happy Friday all

I used a Scheele one from a SC6 and trimmed it to fit.

I think those are 1/8th scale tools, I believe the pins are too small on a 1/10th, but worth checking. If someone can give me the pin dimensions on what you're talking about I can compare.

Xray recommend the HUDY pin tool for their 10th scale cars like the XB2. Pin size on the Kyosho seems to be 2x10mm.

I've used a Hudy tool a friend had and it works, he modded his tool a little for the smaller pins and broke it. There was just enough to get the old pin pushed out enough to get a new pin to line up. If you use that tool with a vice, you can control things better when pushing out/in pins. I use it with a small hammer to tap them out/in.

Hello my kyosho friends,

I am looking to convert my rb6 to a laydown transmission. With the rb6.6 out, can i use those part and it will be an exact fit? Also can you help me with all the parts I need.
I have an idea but want to be sure. Thank you in advance.

Lay down tranny cases, lay down idler gear, lay down motor plate and gear cover, rear lay down bulkhead (if you plan to run the shocks on the front of the rear arms). That's pretty much the parts you need. Then you'll have to drill two holes in the regular RB6 chassis for the more forward waterfall brace. Then likely have to shave/grind/mill the chassis sides down more forward if you plan to run the battery sideways, along with modding the sideguards for battery clearance more forward as well. Lastly, you'll have to mod the rear front arm mount to fit under the lay down tranny cases, unless you get one f the new ones that's already milled down for clearance.

That should be all you need/need to do

You have to drill 4 holes. 2 for the waterfall and 2 for the forward screws in the laydown case. The laydown case has 4 screws through the chassis.
