DANG!!! Missed the boat on 3 gear transmissions at A-main. They sure went fast....
Anyone have a lead on factory 3 gear cases?

Check out this RB6 chassis on the Kyosho America site. Does it have laydown transmission hole already in it??

No that is for UM787, Battery Stopper. They introduced that on the RT6 if I remember correctly.

For anyone trying to keep their pucks setup running in their RB6/RB6.6 you probably know that MIP has completly dropped Kyosho.
I've just discovered that MIP diff gear and diff rings are identical for the RB6 and B5M. Just get a thrust bearing for Kyosho and your in still in business.
P.S. MIP has full Kyosho pucks setups on sale on their site for 50 bucks.

I've also been surprised to discover that puck rollers don't last much longer than the plastic pucks. Plastic pucks are the way to go for the low budget racer. I still have never had to buy driveshafts or outdrives. They both look great! You have to keep an eye on them and replace when needed but 3 bucks worth of pucks sure beats buying driveshafts and outdrives.

Don't forget the gear cover and you may want to grab the new bulkhead as well.

I need outdrives for a ball diff to be able put shiny pucks in the mod buggy, anybody have some?

Does anybody know of a front wing that fits the RB6 shock tower?

How about a low mount one?

I had this same issue with my laydown case. I asked my local shop to see about a replacement and Kyosho America said the replacements are warped too. "Tell the customer to put it together and bolt it down, should be fine".

All the other cases are really nice and tight. This is not what I'm used to with Kyosho....I"ll post pics of mine too.

Thumbs up

I've ordered the new version "B" of the rear alum suspension mounts and I'll be hopefully picking it up at my LHS tonight but I've noticed it seems like the old set fit just fine. I'm not sure what part would need to be ground down as some have mentioned. Here's some pics for comparison....

would like to hear other's comparisons. Thanks in advance!

I don't think the lay down transmission will fit over the rf block. If your running stand up 3 or 4 gear it won't be a problem.
