Just finished mine up tonight. I'm going to install my electronics tomorrow and hit the track with it.

are there enough parts in the kit to swap gear boxes out in seconds ie enough idlers etc... or do you need extra diffs, extra idlers, layshafts etc

That explains why you were not at the track last night. Looks good!

No, you can only build one transmission type at a time. To do what you want to do will depend on the type of transmission you want to build and what you already have built.

Ran my 3gear laydown mod RB6.6 last night at local club race.
TQ'd both rounds and won main.
Car was money on our high bite moist clay like surface. 3 others drove it and loved it...

Good results, hats off on the TQ and the win. Did you go shorty sideways?

I got to touch the box, hopefully mine will be home soon

What's a good setup for a loose to medium traction track for the rb6.6?

So I was just about to start the step 44 where you start to assemble the transmission and was messing around with the case seeing how it looks before I assemble it and found that the molds are not straight. Again these are two empty cases that I just stuck together. Even after forcing it to close the gaps you can see a hole where dirt can easily get in. What would you do?

This is a picture of one side on a flat surface. You can see where it isn't touching. Same for the other side just one is more than the other.

You can see the gap even after closing the two cases. You can actually se thru the cases which can't be good.

It'll be fine. Mine (and others) were like that. Screw it together and it will run fine.
