Went through more setups on PetitRC and dont see the 2 - seems like the popular setup is -1 for front and back - thanks.

I have two mid motor setup RB6 that I am learning to setup.
Is there a 'general' camber setting that I should start with. I've been looking at setup sheets and they seem to range from -2 up to 2.
I usually run on a small clay track (Tony's Hobbies) or OCRC.
Thanks in advance.

Whats the best esc for MM, last winter season i ran a tekin RS in 17.5 class on med sized carpet this year i'm running mod and wanted something with a fan is the RSX too much?
Tech Initiate
I blew up my Hobbywing v3.1 running mod last week so I picked up a Team Powers Radon Version 2. Throttle response is as smooth as the Hobbywing, and the brakes are even smoother. I run a Tekin in my RT6 and it's not as smooth as the Hobbywing or the Team Powers

That a subjective question, one of which I'm sure there'll be many, many answers to.
Couple things to consider. Price and size (as the MM layout can be a little on the tight side for the elec. component placement). If price isn't really an issue, the. Size of the ESC could be the thing you'll need to focus on more of. If either of those aren't a big issue for you, the. It's about what you like the name of, feel of, or which has features you want in the ESC. I'd say most of the current top end ESC's will be more than up to the task to get the job done.
Any of the newest:
Orion
Reedy
LRP
Hobby wing
Tekin
Any of those will be more than up to par to do the job.
Personally I like the Oirion for the dual sensor ports the most. Makes ESC placement a bit easier knowing you can use either port to route the sensor wire to. im not a fan of having to possibly remove the ESC just to change a sensor wire. But that's just me.
All of the above mentioned ESC's have things I like or don't like either in price or features, so it just comes down to which will fit your needs the most I guess.

Size matters not the price last year i ran the Tekin Rs between the motor and battery with the pack inline, I'd like to keep the same basic setup the car was really hooked up on that track. I wonder if the gen 1 Rs would do the job with an 8.5 motor.

The Tekin Rs series is probably your best bet for its small size and it's pretty light too. The gen1 Rs should run a 8.5 with little heat issues, unless you're boosting it to the moon. Only down side for the Rs line is the lack of a fan for the ESC, but you probably shouldn't have an overheating issue if you keep, the ESC settings more on the conservative side and don't get all crazy with it.
I only mentioned the price because it does matter to some and could be something that affects the end users decision of which to buy.
Outside of the Rs series from Tekin, I think most all the other ESC's out have a similar footprint, so if one will fit in the space you have, it's likely the others would as well. I had my Orion setup between the motor and battery for a while and it does fit, but it's tight for sure (I even had the fan mounted on it for a while too).
There's no lack of ESC choices right now, that's for sure.

I went with Orion R10 pro in both my car and my sons. Picked up both used for under 100 each and couldn't be happier with them. Simple and easy programming. Cheap. Runs cool.

Thanks guy's Orion R10 sounds like the one, I tried the sideways pack last year and put down slower laps, i drive an OS powered MP9 all spring summer fall and i'm kinda new to 2wd buggy i probably had the wrong setup for the sideways pack???

I'm back to inline battery, sideways is not for everyone.

Here's a 3D Printed waterfall, its made to fit a 25x25mm fan. Summers coming here in Melbourne, and I expect there will be many race day's around 35*C, I'm gonna need as much cooling as I can get!
