I don't have any experience with a gear diff in the buggy but maybe someone else has. The only question I have at this time is what is the track like, loose or high bite? I would think that would play into the choice of what oil to use.

IERC indoor clay med to high bite. Run sauced slicks in my d413 . I use this rb6 as a spare car and only ran it three times and it does great but slow.when I increase power I'm gonna need to play with diff and slipper .2x1.6 pistons, universal drive shafts, and using starter set up on 1st page.

Default Milled RB6 Chassis

Are there any companies or people out there selling milled RB6/RT6/SC6 chassis? I would think at this point there is a small market for that considering so many people run the sideways battery config.

Thanks.

Don't you just milled out the side guards? The chassis isn't touched is it? If it is that's a sure fire no go for me. And I hope this isn't being done to try and make the car drive more like a B5M. That car was not as good for me.

Curious, how was it utter crap?

It sits a bit off the aluminum if you just mill sideguards. ARound 2 mm. So if you want it smack down low as possible you gotta mill. The folds on the sides cause the battery to be above.

There are a couple reasons the chassis is milled. The first is to get the battery to sit properly in the car to get a lower center of gravity. The other reason is to give the chassis a bit more flex. There may be other reasons, but these the only two I'm aware of.

Yes... Those two reasons are legit, but is it necessary to mill it out to run this mod? I'm just saying I would not want to have to shave down the sides and worry about a tweaked chassis due to reduced strength.

For me, I meant to say. A lot of people like it, and I, sure are very happy. I was not really one of them. Getting my RB6 back was a breath of fresh air for me.

Picked up 4 sets of the new rear arms with new hole. Have not used them yet, what should I expect out if them?
