So I just picked up an RB6 from a member here and am confused on something.
The front hinge pin brace (aluminum aftermarket) is worn real thin from rubbing on the ground and I want to replace it. It came with a spare aluminum one (factory Kyosho) but it isn't wide enough. The car has an aftermarket front mounting block, but in all the research I've done I cannot find any setup that is for any reason wider than the stock setup. The only one with different widths are for the rears. The one I have on the car is considerably wider than the replacement one, any ideas as to what may be on the car?

That shorter one is for the RB5. It uses a narrower pivot and longer arms.

So there is only one option for the RB6 as far as width?

Just did a little more digging, and it appears that the plate I have is in fact the RB6 one. Here is an Ebay link to the exact same one I have.

So now I'm still confused as to what I have on my RB6.

I am using all carbon composite parts in my mid motor RB6 that I have only for carpet...they parts are really tough I must admit! Lighter, less flex and as strong as the plastic items

Hi guys, would you have the new part number for the UM700 main chassis with revised battery mount holes? I'm trying to get my supplier to order it but the UM700 comes up as the old original chassis. Thanks,

Going to do some 1/10 indoor soon.
What parts would be good to have in my toolbox?

I would keep a few arms in your box, as well as steering parts and rear hangers, if yours aren't aluminum. Having a few outer suspension parts like hubs, and caster blocks would be good too. always good to have a few extra bearings too (not that bearing fail, but just in case)

+1 on rear hangers, aluminum, even better. Additionally, an extra servo horn and although you will not need it right away, an extra front bumper is handy to have. The kit comes with extra ball cups which is nice.
