You can't use setup on a track that have traction with MM buggy more than likely you are not gonna have forward bite when you run the same setup on a track that have low traction. I have been running MM since the losi 22 came out and learn a lot how to properly setup a MM buggy.. I got the base setup posted at petit rc for kyosho RB6..
I will have to give this a go myself but just wondering what you did with the shim between the bulkhead and hanger?

ok.. I recalled from the RB5, so maybe the RB6 is different. Cheers,

Thanks for sharing. On a technical question, how do you raise the entire transmission 1mm? Do you use 1mm shims under the transmission, and raise the tower with +1mm shim (between bulkhead and RR hanger)? Thanks,

Yes you put 1mm shims under the transmission and 1mm shims between the bulkhead and shock tower..

I always use tebo as a base setup and I just fine tune from their to suite my driving style..

Is Yaiba the only one making a Alum RB6 front hinge pin holder? I would like a heavier brass one, but so far I've only seen rb5 ones.

Hey everyone. I just posted the winning set up from this weekends Pacific NW Showdown from team Kyosho/Orion driver Andy DiBrino. Team manager Joe Pillers and Andy worked all weekend on the set up and Andy totally dominated the best in the NW. It wasn't even close.

The track is packed clay indoor, and the mid motor was completely dialed

Here is a link to the set up http://www.thebigrc.com/?p=5070

I also have a video of A2 and you can see it wasn't even close. Here is the video http://www.thebigrc.com/?p=5069

8 of the 10 in the A were Kyosho mid motors!

I myself ended up bumping into the B, but the car was dialed unlike my head.

I can't seem to find the brass one anywhere, its listed on their site "GHEA8008" but not for sale, I see the alum one, but it's $45, for that much I'd like brass, thanks.

What can I expect coming from Losi 22 RTR? I tossed in a Tekin RS and a Tekin Gen 2 7.5t motor as well as a Savox low pro servo. I plan to swap the electronics in the RB6 I'm getting. I found the 22 to be durable but I fight to drive it well. Part of it was probably setup, but something kept calling me to the RB6.

The package I got was too good to pass up. Anything I should do as soon as I get it? It's new built, never run.

Flat arms basically change the progression of the rear--similar in fashion to standing the shocks up significantly more. The rear will be firmer and have less roll.

The basic idea when I tried them back to back with gull wing arms was that you could hammer out of corners better with the flat arms. I didn't notice any real loss in traction unless it was in a place that I didn't need traction anyway, such as giving me rotation that I didn't know I wanted

I also did sway bar testing with flat and gull arms and honestly, the flat arms were very similar to running gull wing arms with various sway bar options, but it felt more consistent through the corners with the flat arms.
