He might have said the stock arms with the rollbar kit may feel like the flat arms did, at least that's what I thought it could be.

I'm running the flat and love them on high grip.

Yeah that was my intention...the feeling of the flat arms in high grip conditions is simiar of that of the stock RB6 arms with the rollbar.

What shorty lipos are people using?

I currently have the Turnigy Nano-Tech 4200mah (non A-Spec) , they were pretty decent when I first got them (bout a year or so ago), but take in less than 3000mah and performance drops off very quick.

I've been looking at the SMC, Promatch and HVR lipos, leaning towards the Promatch (partly because the terminals are opposite) but I only just realised they are about 30g heavier.
I'll still likely go with the Promatch but just seeing what people are using.

I have been using Reedy batteries for awhile now and could not be happier with them.

Cool, thanks fellas.

I'm mainly torn between the SMC and Promatch, HVR seems good for the info they provide and being lighter than the others.

I tried a full size pack in my RB6 a little while ago and really didn't like it, just hoping the extra 30-odd grams these other packs have wont effect it too much.
Saying that though, I didnt change the setup, just reset the height.

The SMC seem to be good. They have less voltage drop compared to other packs I've used in the past. I cannot give you an opinion on the Promatch cells, as I have not used them.

My vote smc.
I've had both and recently my promatch puffed in 1 run all the sudden. Then the next time I plugged it in... It toasted my Esc and my servo. This just happened to a guy Dan at my track too last week. He didn't loose his servo tho just Esc. This cost me about 400$ including battery too. I will ever buy them again. It's a shame too they were good packs and I like them. We are both bummed.
