I am probably one of the few who never had problems with the stock pieces in the RB5. If they beefed up that part for the 6 then I say try it out and see what happens. If you are worried and have the pieces in aluminum then go that direction.

Default Lite As

"No chance of damaging that chassis ... it's a work of art!

What I can't get over is how a car with such a strong ali chassis is so light, when I had mine in rear motor with an R10pro + 8.5vst & 5500 90c saddles it was 1525g all up (Spektrum 3500 rx) ... mid motor layout about 45g heavier"[/QUOTE]

My RB6 in mid mount config came in at 1385gms.
And yes using good quality digital scales.

I'll be dropping in a Spektrum SR3500 rx, Orion R10 Pro, Orion 1409 servo, MRT Black Transponder, 5000mah Orion Carbon 90c 2s lipo, and Orion VST Pro 8.5.

I plan on starting with the base set up posted earlier on outdoor clay.

I hope the rx fits on the chassis next to the battery......

Drove mine at LRH Hobbies last night. The chassis looks and feels amazing. The car jumps very well.
