Cheers. I have the Exotek alum rear bulkhead if I ever run RM, which should provide more clearance.

I'd recommend the HW v3* in the 6. It fits perfect in mid and rear motor configs and the wirings very tidy because of the switch. Plus the BEC wire is the exact length to run through the side channels no trimming required. Also switching to blinky mode is just a profile change. It has enough horsepower to keep all firmwares on board and data logging as well. Power turns off when u hold brake for 6 seconds, helps a lot when running back to back heats!

If you have an Exotek rack, they gave some drawing and suggestions about shimming. It works for me since November.
Got quite a lot of play now, without noticing a big impact on lap time/handling.
Wear is created between metal bushings and alloy rack, nothing to do about it after a while. I would have tried Teflon shims between bushings tops and rack but I ordered a Kyosho alloy rack and arms instead.

Lol you may wish to update the download PDF, the R is taller at 20mm
Agreed for 2wd buggy won't need the R and added weight/less turns than 6.5.
Cheers,

yes. just update the box software.
I run a vtx10 (44g or somehting). chopped the caps (black caps) off and put a hobbywing 4x capset alongside because the blacks dont let it get fully under. fits fine. the older ones with silver short caps will fit under fine. Have a couple of BE's (56g) sitting there but never tried to fit it.
VTX10R is a bit heavy (75 for be. orange was 80-something?), but lighter than the hobbywing (93, stock is 40 or something). Go figure.
IIRC the VTX1 is the lightest...
