I just beefed up the bulkhead with the ghea aluminum one. 11 grams not too bad. I probably can run without the brace now . http://www.absolutehobbyz.com/produc...ducts_id=13543

Interesting. How did it affect handling and did you have to make any major changes to setup?

Did not affect handling much actually. Little more weight front and down low. Might be the steering is a bit more aggressive now but it might be just me (had a one week gap and forgot how the car was the week before to drive).

I just had that nagging feeling that since the hinge pins were not parallel (when brace is bent), it was causing toe in and loosing some steering. No major changes to setup, I just reduced rear droop (medium shock ends from longer) for another issue with the car.

Hey guys, for those running MM, are you adding weights in and around the motor? On the RF and behind the battery? I'm gonna try ramming a shorty right up to the motor guard, and 'park' the back end of battery in place with some weights to prevent it slipping towards the motor. I'm thinking with MM I'm gonna need more weight towards the rear anyway. Thanks,

hey what slipper pads do you guys use? I have white ones with my new car and I was looking to order some more and only saw red ones.

I was also having issues with my JConcepts and Proline front hex rims that I used on my B4. It's almost like the hex is too deep in the rim so the wheel slides too far on.

I did a quick search and saw alot of guys asked about this too but no one really gave a straight answer.

One more thing, to get the rear turnbuckles level with the rb6 rear arms, how many shims do I need at the tower and hubs respectively? Thanks!

Just FYI, running the Jconcepts rear wheels will decrease your rear wheel track by 3mm (if memory serves). Measured they back to back against the stockers last weekend. Id stick to the kyosho wheels. I don't know what differences there are with the fronts.

good stuff.

I do currently have the '3 line' axles on the car so that should compensate some until I can stock up on Kyosho rims.

The JC b4 or JC TLR rears? I assume you meant B4. 3mm? are you sure, Those manufactures, like AKA, JC and others market those rears as for the b4, RB5/6 and tlr22. The main reason for the wheels nuts fitting seems to be the wheel thickness around the axle. I have some various wheels at home, but none of them have the same tire for an accurate comparison. If anyone has unmounted wheels, I would definitely like to see how the avid, aka, JC, Kyosho and other wheels measure. 3mm would greatly make the car feel different.
