I'v never had an issue with the factory front hanger on either the rb5 or rb6.
I also never had an issue. I suspect that this part is prone to flexing which causes the aluminum brace to bend actually. I have had the strc for the rb5 but frankly that part was never a problem in the 5.

I have gotten my stronger 720B part from amain already but I don't race till next saturday so cannot tell how strong it is. The older ones bent in 1 race day itself. Even the one in the pic is a noodle .

I think it's more of a weight option
Instead of adding weight inside the bulk head and under the rack
I used the type c version in my rb5 wc and it worked well
From memory it weighed about 30 grams
Cheers

Right I think that was the brass version around 36 grams I believe from ghea. The aluminum seems new.

Can we use losi or ae spurs on this car?

Just use the AE gears with AE pads and it works great.

Thanks,
I am so stoked to pick this car up Monday, dumped the b4 and I think I made a good choice! It was pretty new and already clapped out! Spent some time talking to jowers and looking at his car.. And man Can't wait

Am I correct that the stock kyosho pads fit the losi and not the ae spurs? I'd rather just buy a losi 70tooth rather than the ae spur plus the ae pads. If I already have new kyosho pads I'd like to use those.

other then that there exactly the same correct?
The standard arm for rb6 is curved and the 521-01 arm is straight which adds stability. When running the 521-01 arms, you have to raise your shock collars quite a bit to have the same ride height.

Thanks Sam,
Yes I understand this. I'm not that familiar with the RB5 parts evolution, I was just trying to catch up and understand changes. It is pretty awsome that we can pretty much run any arm on this car for tuning purposes.
I was told by a team driver that essentially the strait arms help square the car up, where the swept arms carry more corner speed. But its really a tuning function to your driving style. It's not like there is a right and wrong option.

I dont think losi or AE offer different arm options........

If you're running stock, I highly suggest running the kimbrough spur instead of a losi. Also, I may be wrong but I think the Kyosho pads only work with Kyosho spurs.
