Looking at the pics from the supernationals, it looks as though we now have the option to run the rear shocks on the front or rear of the arm like with the Lazer.

Pick up one of the latest RB5 setup sheets, and you'll need to dremel the original front tower to free up the big bores and build a +13mm chassis. Body is not Kyosho it is Proline bulldog. Not to mention the NCG arms will set you back a fair coin, whereas RB6 comes with gull wing arms stock. Though RB5 parts will be in ample supply I expect RB6 setup development going forward.

I never said you can't run the car box stock either, more power to you

Was tebo running the SP2 or the WC front hinge pin holder on the RB6? I know it was blue, as shown in the previous pics, but it is hard to tell which one it is. In the manual, it appears the hinge pin holder and the bulkhead have new part numbers. Anyone know if they are different? Or which version he was using?

Also did he have red or pink springs in the rear? The color was hard to decipher.

Questions for the Ultima Gurus....

Ride height for RB6 or RB5

Any toe or Camber angles

Gearing 48 pitch on these cars

Saddle packs or Single Layout

What is the mm of the wheel hexes

This may be my next build... May retire the b4.1

^^^^

Ride height varies but you can start with front arms level and rear bones level, toe varies as well but I run 1 degree negative camber front and rear and no toe. 48p gears. Single stIck or shorty pack and 12 mm hexes all around.

Got it. You think your height is equal front and rear about 25mm

24mm front, 23.5mm rear is pretty standard to start with, then tune to the track conditions.

With the way the chassis is laid out and with the increase in length it obviously won't be a direct fit. If you put it on there I expect it to distort the body into something that just won't work as good as the stock body.

This is all speculation on my part though. When I decide to get one I won't be using the body off of my RB5.

Yeah, the chassis on the RB6 is significantly more narrow. I wouldn't expect an RB5 body to be usable on an RB6.
