Get a deal on the rb5 and once you get a feel for it you can sell It and move up to an Rb6Rb6

I have a question...

It seems that the new car has some new features in the front end like the new caster blocks...how do these bits work? You just add a little more caster or there is something else they do bcause there is the option of putting the block position in and out..

It's like the blocks used for the pivot blocks.

On the RB6, with different blocks you can maybe set the width of the front.

The new caster blocks have vertical ballstud adjustment. Not sure if anything else is different, but that much is visible in the pictures and on the parts explosion.

Edit- I just looked at the parts explosion again and you can see it has an offset spacer for the hingepin (manual shows three sets on the parts tree), which would would make the track adjustable, via moving the kingpin in relation to the arm. Also the manual shows the steering arms and rack on a parts tree so I doubt it's alloy in the kit.

Looks like Tebo finished #2 behind Cavalieri during the timed practice sort for the quals at the Super Nats. That's a good start for the RB6!

Does anybody know if the internal ratio in rear-motor config will be the same as the RB5?

Yes it's the same, the RM tranny is identical except for the wing mounts are now integrated into the case.

Infernos Only has an RB6 parts section up and they are listing most of the parts and offering preorders on parts too. FYI the alloy chassis is $109.99!!!

The ad for the car says caster can be changed via inserts. Looking at the manual, it looks like the inserts on the caster block adjust track width, not caster.
Am I missing something?
