interesting.

Without looking at the bb sheet, you're going from super soft to soft to hard in your three spring steps...

Hard to say since both springs have totally different progressive ratings, but he's right though, k yellows are firmer than k pinks.

Try putting your rear camber to 0 degrees or -.5 in the rear.
Try 2mm on the hub and 1 inside for camber spacers.
Are you running shorty or full pack? Also where is your pack? Shock location?

Lots of ways to help, but could you help US with more details to your setup and track condition?

Is it loose in corner entry? Corner exit? forward accel?

Default Avid clutch system

Here is my two cents on it . rating from 1 - 10

top shaft and fitment ...................10

continuation and feel of the clutch ...........8

durability of the spur gears ........3

Reason they must be too soft because they get noisy pretty fast and you can see the wear on them. i only had two practice days and one race day on it . one other racer just got his RB6 and built it using the Avid system in it and at the end of the practice block of eight hours his car was as loud as mine. kind of disappointing.

since i already have the Avid top shaft in i think i will just use the AE V2 slipper system and use the JC spur gears

I actually have this problem in an RB5 w/ big bores so this probably doesn't exactly apply to this car or belong in this thread, sorry about that.

Interesting read, posted by kdub in the B4.1 Thread:

"About the Triad spur gear noise.... all plastic parts are molded with zero moisture because the temps would make any water turn to steam in the press. Thus, after molding they need to absorb moisture back in the air. Normally a spur gear that you buy on the shop wall was made 6-12 months ago, but the Triad was only released in August. Most people that live in an environment with some moisture in the air will be fine BUT there are cases like guys from Colorado that have cold weather and dry air.

If you do have problems, you can soak your spur in a ziplock full of water for 24-48 hours to speed up the process and you'll be amazed at the difference. We had to do this for all of the original batch of gears which were made only weeks before the launch."

Cool. I have not bought the avid system because the spurs are not cnc machined. Guess I was right. I still use the garodiscs for tlr and the jconcepts silent spur for the 22. Super consistent still and very quiet. If avid were to offer machined option gears Ill be all over it. Or just one gear with a kit machined as opposed to molded .

On another note what antisquat are you guys running? I just want to play around with the settings. Cars great as it is now, I do not run any shims under both holders now.

Looking at replacing my RSXResponse (65.6g) with a RSXone 10 (51.0g), so that i can use the Response in a touring car.

Is the RSXone 10 a good choice?

Yes. Its the front arm/hinge pin holder combo that is different though.

Hmmmmm; interesting. I originally had the AE slipper in my RB6 and when I switched to the Triad slipper, my RB6 was much quieter (and still is) than when I had the AE slipper in it. I've definitely put much more run time on my Triad for the RB6 than it sounds like you have and don't see much (if any) wear on the spur gear.

shock position i run is 3rd hole in on rear tower and out on arm, front is middle on tower out on arm.
i been tweaking my base set up thats on petit and its gotten more consistant as far as lap times but thats only at 1 track so wed night i will test it at a different track and see if it still feels as good. right know im extremely happy with what i've come up with. also went to kyosho 6 hole pistons and run the same weight oils but switched from losi oil to ae
